The Department of Management Studies offers AICTE-approved MBA programs affiliated with Anna University, focusing on academic excellence and practical management exposure through guest lectures, industrial visits, workshops, seminars, conferences, and management activities.
The Department of Management Studies was established in the academic year 1994-1995. The MBA programme is of two years (full time) comprising of four semesters with sanctioned intake of 120 students, and three years (Part time) comprising of six semesters with sanctioned intake of 60 students affiliated to Anna University Chennai and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The Department of Management Studies is not only concentrating on academics but also providing all practical insights for the budding managers through Guest lectures, Industrial visits, symposium, Workshops, conferences, Seminars, Video Conferencing, Management Games, and all other vital programmes.
To attain center of excellence, to make the students to compete in local and global Professional environment.
"Motivation for achieving excellence" is the watchword of MBA programme at Faculty of Management Studies. The course designed, teaching methodology and the faculty work-culture aim at manifesting hidden potential of the student for effective managerial leadership and decision-making. It is well-structured, rigorous, quality programme following the Semester System and conducted under the active guidance of faculty consisting of experienced academicians and top management professionals from the industry. Inputs are provided to enable the student to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding in the chosen area of specialization, so as to develop core competence.
To provide quality education in various fields of Engineering, Technology, Management and Computer Applications by imparting Theoretical and practical Knowledge to the students to enable them to compete and excel in their respective fields in the local as well as global environments.
A well-established computer lab with state of art computer systems and necessary software related to Business Applications and Professional Skill Development is available for training and data analysis for business modelling as per curriculum. Necessary and sufficient Books, Journals & Magazines of various authors of Global arena is available in the department library.
The department provides all the anna university curriculam facilities. Especially we have spacious unique air conditioned laboratory with 25 number of latest software installed computer systems in 198 square feet(22*9) and business application software to encourage student stop racticeallthe software like FINANCIAL MODELLING, TALLYERP, SPSS software to train for their bright future
