The beginnings of Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering traced to 1995 when a Engineering
was started UG course – 09 and PG- courses-06, in obscure village named vadamavandal at the Thiruvanamalai district of Tamil Nadu. These
programs are specifically designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that equips them with necessary skills and knowledge
to excel in their prospective careers The campus has nearly 1500 students and about 100 faculty and staff members.
A lot of emphasis placed on echo- friendly and conservation practice, waste water from the hostels and faculty and staff quarters is treated
using EM, no chemicals are used in the process Organic fertilizers are made using vermi compost, pesticides have been avoided since the very
beginning . The tranquil surroundigs away from the pollution and the bastle of city life, are home to several exotic birds.
