Vision

To empower, apprise and uplift the women and make provisions for competing the world with all her potentials.

Mission

  • Creating awareness among the female students about their social, legal, and constitutional rights to survive in a secured environment.
  • Providing a platform to express their views and ideas through various activities like folk playing, singing, poem writing, debate, etc.
  • Endowing the scope of expressing their ideas, problem-solving techniques, perspective knowledge, and adorable thinking without any barrier.
  • Motivating them to move forward in every step of life for better reincarnation.
  • Stimulating positive thinking to acquire the enlightened track in their journey.
  • Emphasizing ethical values, positive self-esteem, and confidence in young women to make them stronger in decision-making.

Objective

Caring oneself and Adoring Empowerment

  • To promote gender sensitivity by conducting awareness programs and integrating gender studies into the curriculum to foster a culture of equality.
  • To support and counsel by providing emotional, psychological, and career counseling services to female students and staff, including establishing helplines.
  • To implement safety measures on campus and enforce anti-harassment policies through the internal complaints committee.
  • To organize workshops and seminars focused on skill development, leadership, and career advancement for women.
  • To promote women’s health through awareness programs, health camps, and wellness initiatives.
  • To develop and enforce gender equity policies and regularly monitor and assess their effectiveness.
  • To engage with local communities and collaborate with external organizations to support and advocate for women’s empowerment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To organize programs and activities for women empowerment.
  • To encourage girl students and female staff members to participate enthusiastically in various programs and competitions.
  • To develop the self-confidence of women in building their self-identity.
  • To review safety and security measures for female employees and girl students at campus.
  • To promote a culture of respect, equality, and freedom for the female gender.
  • To instill the entrepreneurial attitude among the girl students.
  • To provide psychological support for the students lagging in academic performance.
  • To counsel the girl students to overcome their anxiety, depression, health issues, and psychological problems.
  • To enhance their understanding of issues related to women in society and to face the challenges with great courage.
  • To inculcate awareness among women regarding hygiene and address related issues.

Active Participation of Women empowerment Cell in various segments

  • It ties up with the internal complaints committee to create awareness among ladies and girls in their working environment about the harassment-free zone in the campus premises.
  • It supports the discipline committee to insist the girls and women to follow the discipline code in the living environment.
  • It motivates the girls and women to participate in sports, cultural activities, and yoga with full cooperation and participation throughout the entire course.
  • It shares ideas with the Students Council Committee regarding awareness programs.

For the welfare of women faculties and girls in the working place, Women Empowerment Cell has been constituted in our college. The main function of the cell is to provide various facilities for female faculties and girls and to enhance dignity and self-confidence among female faculties and students.

Cell Composition

The formation of the Women Empowerment Cell is legitimately announced by the committee coordinator through an order in writing, with the consent of all the HODs of various departments after the approval by the Principal

Objectives

  • To conduct meetings to emphasize creating an empowering platform.
  • To organize events and activities for women empowerment and create an environment to realize their full potential.
  • To conduct awareness programs with a motive to train girls about self-defense, health benefits, and skill development.
  • To up-skill women about their status in society through education, raising awareness, literacy, and training.
  • To make women strong, decisive personalities.
  • To work for the exhilaration of women.
  • To develop the self-confidence of women and appreciate their role in society.
  • To emphasize various constitutional laws, amendments, and the benefits given by various NGOs and the Government.
  • To provide counseling for women to come out of their inferior feelings.
