Background

Research Committee

Vision

  • Evolve into a Centre of Excellence for Research in Meenakshi College of Engineering

Mission

  • The research department strives to create a strong sense of community, provide a variety of engaging and enriching opportunities for staff/students and to prepare the students for research carriers.
  • Attaining academic excellence through well designed curriculum flexible to dynamic technological needs, competent faculty and innovative researchlearning process.
  • Promoting collaborative research through special interest groups, state of the Madras University, Anna University, IIT and CICRI research labs.
  • We should conduct the research meeting to every academic year last month.

  • The R&D cell was established to promote and monitor the development of research activities of the College.
  • The R & D cell motivates the students in research activities, by providing the required training and suggestion.
  • The R & D cell aims to nurture the research culture in the institute by promoting research in newly emerging and challenging areas of engineering and technology.
  • It encourages the students and faculty to undertake research in newly emerging and challenging areas of engineering and technology, including multidisciplinary fields.
  • To monitor progress of the research and development activity.
