  • Monitoring teaching requirements for completing academic programs.
  • Monitoring the functioning of the Library of the college.
  • Periodical academic performance monitoring of students.
  • Facilitating and supervising the co-curricular activities for the students.
  • Guiding students to utilize the placement and training activities for their career enhancement
  • Encouraging students with awards, stipends, scholarships, medals and prizes
  • Appointing a review committee periodically, in order to review all the institute academic activities, including the curricula, academic rules and regulations. Consequently acting on its recommendations after due considerations
  • Planning and executing the overall academic growth of the college including apprising.

The major revamp of the framework of Academic Advisory Committee (AAC), aims to be a premier in the way of offering the curriculum in professional education and to provide training blended with ethical values to convert student into a strong asset of our nation.

The AAC in Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering has been constantly endeavoring to upgrade with the procedures and to satisfy the requirements in the approval process through informal and formal interactions with executive committee members. This is expected to create an academic ambiance in the Technical intuitions of AMACE for nurturing and supporting quality, so that Technical education will be one of the best in our campus.

The AAC of our Institution believes that providing all kinds of supporting to students which make them think beyond the curriculum while imparting training for the advancement of knowledge.

The AAC has put in the place with several initiatives to bring about change in the approval community by introducing greater transparency and accountability to reach the student community in hassle free manner as well as to satisfy the norms of accredited bodies along with technical up gradation of today’s Industrial Evolution.

The AAC periodically monitoring the academic activates, by receiving the academic performance of the students in Internal/External assessments. The periodical reports about the students performance and factors/grievances (if any) in academic process are identified during the interaction with the executive members will be forwarded to the IQAC for further action. The AAC extended its hands with IQAC whenever in need of academic related activates for ensuring quality education to the students.
