Instrumentation and Control Engineering department was established in the year 1995-1996. It specially focuses on calibration, testing and maintenance of the instruments that are used in design and configuration of automated systems which typically work for industries for improving system productivity, reliability, safety, optimization and stability.
Instrumentation Engineering is a multidisciplinary program drawing on several disciplines: electrical, electronics, computer, chemical and mechanical engineering, material science and biomedical engineering. It is also used for diagnostics in health care, environmental pollution measurement and in all fields of advanced research and development.
